FBI Director Kash Patel publicly condemned former Coast Guard officer Peter Stinson on Tuesday, following Stinson’s arrest for allegedly threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump. Patel also pointed a finger at former FBI Director James Comey, calling a since-deleted Instagram post from Comey earlier this year “destructive” and potentially influential in the case.
