“Free Palestine” with Violence? Details From the Attack on the Pro-Israel Group in Colorado, the Perpetrator Was Illegal!

A man identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, has been arrested in Boulder, Colorado, following what authorities are calling a “targeted terror attack” on a pro-Israel group. The incident occurred near the county courthouse on Pearl Street, where the group was advocating for Hamas to release Israeli hostages.

According to Fox News sources, Soliman, an Egyptian national, was in the United States illegally after overstaying his visa, which was granted during the Biden administration. He initially arrived in the U.S. at Los Angeles International Airport on August 27, 2022, with a non-immigrant visa authorized through February 2, 2023. He reportedly filed a claim with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on September 9, 2022, and was granted work authorization valid through March of this year, despite not having left the country.

Police reported that Soliman was yelling “Free Palestine” during the attack, which involved setting people on fire. Eight individuals, ranging in age from 52 to 88, were injured and hospitalized, with one victim in critical condition. Soliman sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital before being booked into the Boulder County Jail on Sunday evening. Specific charges against him were not immediately disclosed.

The “Run for Their Lives” group, the target of the attack, is described by police as a grassroots organization that holds weekly events calling for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller responded to the incident on X, labeling it a “terror attack” committed by an “illegal alien.” He criticized the Biden administration for granting Soliman a tourist visa and subsequently a work permit after he overstayed. Miller called for a “full reversal” of what he termed “suicidal migration.”

The FBI has stated that it is investigating the attack as an act of “ideologically motivated violence,” based on preliminary information, evidence, and witness testimonies, according to FBI deputy director Dan Bongino.
